Bethany chose my “Bundle of Joy” package and I’m so thrilled that she did. Getting to know her family before the big day made that moment even more special. By the time we got to the newborn session it was completely relaxed. But first things first, I got to meet the whole family for their Sandstone Ranch maternity session in Longmont. Sandstone Ranch in summer is teeming with natural beauty – tall grasses, beautiful trees, and rock formations. It also has a pretty sweet set of historic buildings on the premises that provide a nice backdrop. I really love the bright, coordinated outfits they picked out for the family. Their styling really fit the time of year and the energetic and happy quality of their family. This bubbly session made me smile then and it makes me smile now!
I had to include the above image again for the story. The kiddos really needed a break and had stopped cooperating for posing. After I told them to play on the other side of the bridge while we focused on Mom and Dad, they were suddenly very interested in being photographed! While editing it made me giggle that every frame of Bethany and David had the kids in different spots. So I took a bit of time to composite the images together and show the craziness that is getting little ones together in a photo shoot. I have to say that this image is one of my all-time favorites because it says so much. <3
